Almendra Cremaschi gave a seminar for the Organic Seed Alliance
On September 11th, Almendra Cremaschi, director of Bioleft, gave a virtual seminar as part of the debate on seed intellectual property on the Organic Seed Alliance platform. The meeting was open to the community of organic, agroecological, and family farmers who produce in the United States, and other people from different parts of the world participated as well.

On Tuesday, April 15, we visited the “Las Magnolias” experimental field of the National University of the Northwest of the Province of Buenos Aires (UNNOBA), located in Junín. A comparative maize trial is currently being carried out there as part of the Evaluation Network that Bioleft has been supporting for several years. This network aims to generate agronomic information collaboratively, promoting the use of open-pollinated varieties and encouraging more diverse, open, and resilient seed systems.

Last June 5, International Environmental Day, Bioleft and the team from “Al Rescate del Tomate Criollo” [To the Rescue of Creole Tomato] participated in the First UBA Environmental Conference held on the Faculty of Agronomy campus, with the goal of meeting, interacting and making visible the University contributions on environmental matters. It was an enrichment day, where we could gather and learn from experiences of management and innovation and become aware of the actions and contributions of the University community on environmental matters.
