Orchard maintenance and creole tomato transplant at UNSAM

En el marco del proyecto “Laboratorio vivo: cultivar, experimentar y aprender en la UNSAM”, el pasado jueves 7 de noviembre se llevamos adelante una Jornada de Trasplante y Mantenimiento en la Huerta Educativa y Parcela Experimental “Casita Astro”. Esta actividad, realizada en colaboración con el Área de Sustentabilidad y Ambiente de la Secretaría de Extensión y Vinculación (SEyV), incluyó la cosecha de hortalizas y el trasplante de tomates criollos.

Collaborative assessment of creole tomatoes with Minka. 

On Friday, October 25th, we carried out a transplant day at the Cooperative of Agroecological Production (COPA) in Guernica, Buenos Aires province. There, together with Minka, we evaluated the behavior of one of the heirloom tomato varieties rescued by FAUBA.

An experimental garden on the campus of the National University of San Martín (UNSAM)

In collaboration with the Sustainability and Environment Department of the National University of San Martín (SEyV), we launched the project “Living Laboratory: cultivating, experimenting, and learning at UNSAM.” This initiative aims to create a space for experimentation and learning about the evaluation of important food crops, bringing the participatory evaluation experiences that Bioleft has been developing to the university campus.

Su presentación, “Breeding partecipativo (PPB*) di una varietà OP di mais per l’agricoltura biologica in Argentina: strategie per eliminare inquinamento da OGM” fue recibida por parte del equipo de Semi Rurali con base en Florencia (Italia).
