The event will be held at the Central Library of the Miguelete Campus of the University of San Mart\u00edn.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 2018 edition of CIACIAR seeks to bring together different actors involved in open and citizen science, with the aim of developing initiatives to open up scientific knowledge. Anabel Mar\u00edn, director of Bioleft, will speak about the strategic importance of seeds for development and the need to generate an ecosystem of open innovation and participatory improvement in agriculture. This will take place during the opening talks at 9 a.m.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The meeting provides a space for exchange for scientists, researchers, students, and science and technology communicators. The aim is to share experiences and discuss opportunities and challenges in relation to how to carry out open and citizen science practices in Argentina. Specialists in the interaction between science, technology, society, education, and open systems will participate, such as Agostina Mileo (Econom\u00eda Femini(s)ta), Anabel Marin (Bioleft), Gabriel Gellon (Expedici\u00f3n Ciencia), Alejandro Nadra (TecnoX), Guadalupe Nogu\u00e9s, Mart\u00edn de Ambrosio, Guillermina Actis, Ivonne Lujano, Guillermina D&#8217;Onofrio, Diego Torres, and Mariano Fressoli, among others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The morning will be dedicated to opening talks. From midday onwards, there will be a poster exhibition and street fair, and in the afternoon, workshops.
